About the video and storyboard
This was our first storyboard idea we were going to make for our music video, however the band we were going to film were on a tight schedule therefore we won't be to use them in the video. We did like this idea because it told the story in a different way of our main character finding a 'hero' in the lead singer of the band who will find her. We didn't incorporate transitions, fades and effects into this storyboard because of the decision to not use this idea.

This is the final storyboard idea we decided to use.
We will add transitions and effects when we film and put the product onto iMovie and decide which effects suit the certain sections of the music video.
it is explained below what is happening in the storyboard
In our music video, there is the use of the Equilibrium theory by Tordorov where firstly everything is balanced, something comes along to disrupt that equilibrium (disequilibrium) and finally reach a resolution when equilibrium is restored.
This is shown in our music video, our main character is on her way to meet her boyfriend to go out, at this point she is very happy (this would be the balance) as she gets into the car and turns on the radio there is an argument in the car. The main character then leaves the car with emotions flying all over eg. Anger, sadness disappointment. The male in the video is seen to be distressed and frustrated with the situation.
The main character is seen walking in many different places to the song 'cry somewhere else', this song giving the idea that she has to find her place in the world as she keeps moving around. She is having flashbacks to herself drinking in a forest whilst all these emotions are in her head, she is receiving text messages from her boyfriend saying things such as "where are you?" "I'm sorry" "I'm coming to find you" "please reply" etc. This drives her to keep walking away from the situation. There are more flashes back to her drinking her alcohol and getting progressively more unhappy and frustrated as time passes. (disequilibrium)
Finally, her boyfriend finds her in the middle of a path. Everything becomes resolved by this point as they talk and sort everything out. The equilibrium will again be restored.
